Orion nebula

(Foto: Jailton Cesar)

Hi, It´s my second picture shot with my T1i, the main goal was to record M8 & M20, but as i'm limited to a 18-55mm lens i couldn't get only the nebula, Due to it what caught my attention in this picture is that we have several objects in the same sky's field besides M8 & M20 complex(center), like M7 open cluster(left corner) , M23, M25, etc...

Curiosity

(Pictures by Guilherme Martins)

(Text in english below)

Hello. We're sorry about don't post anything for a month. I've been very busy with my Master's degree thesis, Tarcisio and Ivo have been shared photos and jokes on facebook every single day, Jailton doesn't know how to post (he can shoot awesome picture thought) and Geane, I hope she's busy also.
I'd like to share this pic that I shot from the rocket taking 'curiosity' rover to mars. I'd been in Florida for a month doing some research in University of Central Florida (awesome place) and I was lucky for being there in this period. It happened in november 26th. The launch was scheduled for 10 o' clock (local time) so I woke up at 9:30 and went outside of the hotel. The clock showed 10:00 and I was thinking: "where the hell is this rocket?" and suddenly I heard the noise, saw it and pointed out my camera (a new Canon T1i) and took some pictures. That was amazing. It'd be even better if I had the chance to be closer to Kennedy Space Center this day. The distance from the hotel to the KSC launch facilities is approximately 50 km (31 miles) in a straight line.
Hope you enjoy.
